Last week we had the pleasure of working with interior designer Alexandra Naranjo to document a recently finished space of hers at the Ritz Carlton. We had a fairly limited amount of time inside so we worked quickly to create both composite images of the spaces as well as detail shots of individual elements within each space.
For this shoot we used Canon's 5D MK3 locked off on a newly acquired Vanguard Auctus Plus 283CT tripod (with which we've very impressed) tethered to Capture One Pro. This allowed us to control the camera without having to worry about accidentally bumping it while shooting the exposures for the composite images.
For lensing we enlisted Canon's incredibly sharp perspective controlled lenses (17mm f/4, 24mm f/3.5 ||, and 45mm f/2.8) to allow for seamless stitching of exposures. For the detail shots we opted to work handheld to fit our time constraints and mainly used the Canon 85mm f/1.2 and 100mm f/2.8.
We had a lot of fun with this shoot and are looking forward to the next one. Check out some of our favourite images!
